DNS Audit
Men & Mice DNS Audit includes a broad review of an existing DNS infrastructure with a detailed report on possible optimizations. The recommended optimizations will be prioritized and the cost and effort needed to implement them are estimated. Men & Mice will utilize their tools and expertise to review the DNS design and setup and will monitor DNS traffic on the network to identify bottlenecks and misconfigurations.
During the Audit, Men & Mice will target known Problems in the DNS and IP Address Management (IPAM) Infrastructure, such as:
- Single Points of Failure
- Performance of local, internal DNS Name Resolution (forward and backward)
- Performance of local to Internet DNS Name Resolution
- Mail Server DNS Lookup on external DNS
