Solutions and products overview

A non-intrusive network managment layer on an existing DNS and DHCP infrastructure.

Men & Mice is on a mission to help enterprises manage their DNS, DHCP and IP Address infrastructure professionally. Our network management solutions are easily deployed and non-intrusive, i.e. designed to work with and complement the existing DNS and DHCP infrastructure instead of replacing it, providing a sophisticated and secure management layer with robust monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities.

Our solutions are designed to overcome the limitations of the native tools and resolve management issues that frequently arise on large computer networks with thousands of IP devices.

Our products and solutions are designed to work with all mainstream DNS and DHCP servers. We provide comprehensive solutions for Microsoft and Active Directory based networks, as well as for Unix/Linux ISC BIND and DHCP based environments.

The Men & Mice Suite

Active Directory based networks, as well as those enterprises using Unix and Linux.

It is a challenge to manage a large IP address space, multiple DNS and DHCP servers, and all the users and administrators involved, using only the default management tools. The Men & Mice Suite meets this challenge and is the best tool for solving the scalability, manageability and troubleshooting issues in large network environments.

Deploying the Men & Mice Suite brings many benefits, among them the following three key benefits:

  • Non-intrusive, step-wise deployment.
  • Clear and integrated view of the whole network infrastructure, with the DNS, DHCP and IP address space merged into one unified updateable view.
  • Easy task delegation enabling senior network administrator to safely offload daily network tasks so that they can be managed by local operators or help desk personnel in a secure and professional manner.

Men & Mice Suite Management Modules

The Men & Mice Suite contains the following four functional modules:

    • The modules build on the Men & Mice Suite framework, and are designed to work with the existing servers and technologies, providing administrators with unified, secure and sophisticated interfaces to multiple servers. Each module can be licensed independently of the others but it is generally advantageous and cost-effective to deploy two or more modules, as they complement and support each other.
